Hadas Neuman - A CAMERA IN A BAG JOURNEY  (Lecture performance)

WHO IS HADAS NEUMAN?
A filmmaker walking down the streets (with a camera in her bag).

WHAT IS THE PRODUCTION OF THE UNPREDICTABLE?
A production mode and a research where Hadas explores different ways in which she can use unpredictability as a narrative tool to reclaim the spectacle of everyday life and incorporate it into hybrid works that blend documentary and autofiction (where autobiographical elements meet fictional storytelling).

WHAT IS “A CAMERA IN A BAG”?
An experimental method of filming that consists of aimless wandering in search of an aim that would retrospectively justify the process. Invented through Hadas's introspection following two research trips (and counting) in the streets with a camera in her bag which functions as a confession, performance, and storytelling instigator.
