Over deze AHK Circle 'The Privilige Pyramid'
Mounir will deliver a 25-minute keynote speech, followed by a group discussion of 15-20 minutes. We will delve deeper into the role of the socio-economic position of students and staff at AHK. We will utilize techniques learned during previous circle gatherings.

Important questions will be addressed: What makes students and staff economically vulnerable and how does this impact their academic performance and future careers? What choices are made and what sacrifices are being made? We will also discuss the role of shame in discussing economic vulnerability and why economically vulnerable groups often feel excluded from AHK.

Additionally, we will examine power dynamics between study disciplines and the distinction between international students and Dutch citizens. After interacting with participants, we will split into groups to collectively build privilege pyramids, exploring intersectionality and assumptions about privileges and social status.
