As a producer, you create the opportunities to facilitate documentaries, feature films or TV productions. A producer is a cultural entrepreneur who is responsible for operational management. As a producer, you have the last say on financial matters, but also about content and design. You are part of a core trinity, along with the director and the screenwriter. Commissioning screenplay development, generating (and guarding) resources to create productions, be a leader to the creators, draw up plans and schedules: all this is part of your responsibilities as a producer.
