Symmetry

In the 20 minute dance film 'Symmetry' physicist Lucas escapes his work in the CERN particle accelerator, due to an existential anxiety attack. In a wide, empty ice landscape he comes face to face with his conscience: the mysterious singer Vala. She makes him doubt whether modern science can answer any of the main life's questions. Are they hidden in Vala's primordial sounds, or within complex physical measurements? Or are it these contrasts juxtaposed from which Lucas gets new insights into an ancient symmetry between the elementary particles of his body and the great movements of the universe?
