Jules Schattenberg

Jules Schattenberg (Nijmegen, 2001) studied Music & Technology at the HKU University of Arts Utrecht and Composing for Film at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and the Netherlands Film Academy. 

During his studies, he worked on a broad range of projects, composing music for documentaries, short films, video games and animations. Notable works include De Toemoek Hoemak Expeditie (Freek de Goeje, VPRO/2Doc), Winterslaap (Julia van Braak), What's Missing (MIG Studios), BUNGELEN (Floris van Doorn, NPO/Amazon Prime), and The Birds Shall Return (Nour Alkheder, HUMAN). For three animated shorts, he composed orchestral scores that were recorded with the FAMES orchestra in Skopje, North Macedonia. 

Since graduating, Jules has been active as a composer for film, television, and videogames.
