Pablo Gonzalez Cardona
Pablo José González Cardona (Medellín, Colombia, 1998) is completing his Master's in Composing for Film at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. With a background in classical music, focusing on Classical Guitar, he developed a deep understanding of musical structure—an ideal foundation for composing, arranging, and orchestrating. His interest in film scoring gradually took shape, leading him to take additional steps to refine his craft and ultimately apply to the Conservatorium, where his diverse musical influences found an expressive outlet, resulting in a broad stylistic range tailored to each film’s needs.
During his studies, Pablo composed the music for several short films, including Bericht van Beneden (Kellan Vogelzang, 2024), Alpha (Meander van Harrewijen, 2024), Mothers, Mothers, Mothers (Paul Hylkema, 2025), and Beneath the Baobab Tree (Gora Mboup, 2025). These projects provided valuable experience and enriched his ability to tell compelling stories through music.
