Léa Giordano (she/her) is a visual artist and filmmaker based in Amsterdam and Luxembourg.
After graduating with a bachelor’s degree in photography, she expanded her practice into experimental filmmaking at the Gerrit Rietveld Academy. Her work moves fluidly between motion picture and photography, using the materiality of analog film as both metaphor and medium to shape narratives and embrace the organic evolution of her process.
Her practice explores themes of longing, belonging, melancholia, nostalgia, abandonment, change, grief, acceptance, and the passing of time. Through a meditative engagement with nature and the tactile processes of analog film, Léa creates intimate spaces where emotion, memory, and time intertwin
