Marçal Taques is a brazilian screenwriter, director, and film producer, with a degree in Cinema and Video from Unespar-PR. Among his main works are the screenplay and direction of the fiction miniseries Rarefeito, aired on TV Cultura, and the screenplay for the fiction series Contracapa, broadcast on AXN and Amazon Prime Video. His most recent project is as the screenwriter of the feature film A Constelação, and scheduled for release in 2025.

He is also a partner and producer at Diadorim Filmes, a production company based in Curitiba since 2012, which has produced over 20 works, including series, feature films, and short films.
