Riwa Philipps is a Lebanese-German visual artist and filmmaker who grew up in Beirut, Lebanon. She studied cinema at the Lebanese Academy of Fine Arts (ALBA) and has since worked across multiple disciplines, including editing, directing, curation, and scenography. Her practice centers on archival material. Through her personal documentaries, she delves into her family’s archives and experiments with multimedia to uncover hidden narratives that navigate between the real and the imaginary.
