Adapting the format of a 'hackathon' - a brainstorming marathon enabling individuals to surpass their own capabilities through the collaborative effort - the Artistic Research Week features the first edition of the production-oriented 'Work-A-Thon'. During one intense afternoon, professionals from across the art, film and academic fields will combine their expertise to think the alternative modes of artistic production applicable to projects that fall in-between existing pipelines due to their research-based, interdisciplinary or transmedia nature.
