For the past year, Mexican filmmaker, artist and teacher Pablo Martinez-Zárate has been Artist in Residence as part of the AHK’s AIR programme. During his time at the Research Department, he explored the theme of 'education and research in times of crisis'. His process included filming, writing, lecturing and working with students of the Master's programme in various workshops. 

What to expect?
The intimate exhibition Studio Variations draws together all of the material – from images and video fragments to a work-in-progress analogue essay film – he collected during his time at the Academy, set against the backdrop of Studio 7.
