During this artist talk, Melvin Moti shares different elements of his practice, which involves making films, music and writing texts.
This is an extra inserted lecture because Melvin's previous scheduled lecture in november could not take place due to the storm.

Melvin Moti produced primarily 35mm films, often shown in conjunction with photography, objects, and artist books. His feature film titled Dreamlife was released in 2020, and recently the artist started doing musical performances.

Melvin Moti  studied 
Visual Arts in Tilburg and worked at De Ateliers in Amsterdam. In 2006 he was awarded the Charlotte Köhler prize, and in 2007 the J.C. van Lanschot prize. Moti's work has been exhibited around the world, including in Berlin, Tokyo, Boston and Brussels. In the Netherlands, his work has been shown at museums such as the Stedelijk Museum Amsterdam and Kunstinstituut Melly (formerly known as Witte de With) in Rotterdam. In 2015, he won the ABN AMRO Art Award.
