Kris Dekkers

Kris Dekkers studied General Literature (now Language and Cultural Studies) and Women's Studies at Utrecht University and subsequently completed the postdoctoral program in Cultural Management at the AHK. After working as a producer and managing director at various theater and dance companies, she joined the Netherlands Film Academy in 2001. In 2008, she was asked to help establish the master's program, of which she was general coordinator until 2023. 

Since 2023, Kris has combined her role as general coordinator at the Research Centre with her position as student dean at both the Netherlands Film Academy and the Academy of Theatre and Dance
